Call for Papers

1st Mediterranean Conference on Advances in Vision and Artificial Intelligence (MedCAVIA 2025), Tebessa, Algeria — October 29–30, 2025

We are pleased to invite researchers, academics, and industry professionals to participate in the 1st Edition of the Mediterranean Conference on Advances in Vision and Artificial Intelligence (MedCAVIA 2025), which will be held in Tebessa, Algeria, from October 29 to 30, 2025.

The conference is organized by the Laboratory of Vision and Artificial Intelligence (LAVIA) at Larbi Tebessi University.

 MedCAVIA 2025 will highlight the latest advancements in pattern recognition, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. The conference aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, practitioners, and experts from various disciplines who share a common interest in these cutting-edge fields. The scientific program will include keynote speeches, plenary talks, regular sessions, poster presentations, and special sessions.

 Conference Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Advances in Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision: Image and video analysis, object detection, face recognition, and visual data processing techniques.
  • Artificial Intelligence in Real-World Applications: AI-based solutions for healthcare, security, autonomous systems, and robotics.
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning Innovations: State-of-the-art algorithms, improvements in machine and deep learning models, and their applications in AI and vision.
  • Big Data and Data Analytics in Vision and AI: Techniques for large-scale data processing, storage, and analytics for image and video datasets.
  • Optimization and Efficiency in AI Algorithms: Strategies for enhancing algorithm scalability and reducing computational cost in real-time AI applications.

 All submitted papers will undergo a thorough peer-review process by at least three members of the international program committee, with additional expert reviewers involved as needed. Paper selection will be based on originality, technical quality, significance, and clarity of presentation.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended and enhanced versions for publication in a Special Issue of an international journal (details to be announced).
